how much do i cut in order to lower my honda accord 3″?

i have an upgrade coil over suspension kit but its not adjustable and i have it riding on 18′s i think and the ride height looks funny (ugly) it would be nice to see pictures of how low it ends up after a 3″ drop
p.s. its a 1990 honda accord i also have bars both in front and back…

3″ could be to very low. When cutting the springs you should start slow like 1.5′ first then 2″ until you reached your desired height. There is no turning back if you cut it 3″ right away and you are not satisfy with it. I suggest 2″ will be fine in your car. It will give you already the looks that you want and also it will not ruin the ride and suspension that much. Hope this help!
