Laminate lifts when A/C comes on.?

Here’s a good one my flooring is a few years old. It was installed well and up until now I have had no problems. I made some changes to the house I got rid of all the big cumbersome furniture in the living room like the coffee table the big sofa that no one sat on except the six dogs and the small sofa they call a love seat (why I don’t know) and replaced it all with 2 rocker recliners and 2 swivel rockers and a large iguana cage and now I notice that when the A/C comes on the center of the living room floor lifts up which is very discomforting since I have trouble walking and this throws my balance off. Now here is the question how do I stop this since laminate flooring is free floating and no it was not installed to tightly or incorrectly. The vents for the A/C are in the floor so I believe the the air is blowing up under the flooring and lifting now that the heavy furniture that used to hold it down is gone.

You need to seal the duct work from the air handler to the exit of the vent so that the air goes into the room instead of under the flooring.
Or one other thought…. A vent was “buried”(floored over) during the floor installation, and you never noticed it until the heavy furniture was removed….. Check to make sure that all duct work has a corresponding end vent exposed in the affected area or room
