In my opinion I would upgrade the ram to at least 2GB. If you are running out of hard drive space then you should upgrade your hard drive to whatever you think you need, hard drives aren’t very expensive. Unfortunately graphics cards tend to be quite expensive to upgrade, but 256MB of dedicated graphics memory isn’t terrible.

A core 2 duo is dual-core. a core 2 quad is quad-core.
