Hello My name is Andy Baker and im trying to sing a rap song, i have the rapp text but i dont know what to do next? should i go to the studio and sing or i have to do other thing before that? can you just tell my step by step it is a first time im doning this i really need help. thankes

1st you get a beat
2nd you write a song to the beat
3rd you record it (you can record at your home, the studios not worth the money since any software can be obtained over the internet. But you will need a mic, but a condensor mic (sold on ebay for cheap, or at your local music stores). Buy a pop-shield *this is a MUST HAVE*)

Then once you record it, edit it, and test it on your phone if it plays mp3′s, in your car, and on the computer. If all levels are good and if it doesnt distort your voice when at high levels the your set!

Also a common mistake among newbies is that you turn the instrumental up wayyy to much and it makes it almost impossible for people to understand what your saying. Even if it is a good beat dont let it overpower your voice because thats the best instrument of them all.
