Bar Polished Nickel
What kind of bar towel (etc) does not tarnish?
I want to replace the towel bar and modern toilet paper holder my bathroom, but I DO NOT want to get anything, although it might look great in the store, later will be polished to make it look nice. What material will be low maintenance and durable? Chrome tends to flake and chip, so I prefer not to. Porcelain probably would be fine, but I just I have seen the porcelain / nickel combos, and I worry that nickel can tarnish. Thanks for your suggestions and information! The wood does not seem the best option for bathroom wet. Besides not appeal to me aesthetically. Thanks for the suggestion, however. Stainless steel would be great, but I've never seen towel and toilet paper made only in stainless steel. Any suggestions where to find them? I've looked at Lowe's and Home Depot. Have you ever seen like that (All stainless steel) anywhere? I'm not sure they do.
Restoration Hardware has attachments not corrosive. But I was disappointed to see that no porcelain, which is what I would suggest to you. It is worth looking into insurance.
