Is it safe to wash delicate items in a copper bowl sink?

I put a copper bowl sink in a walnut countertop in my room washing. Came from a bar. Does the copper and / or patina has harmful effects on hand washing? It was a freebie and it looks very nice. Do anyone see any problem with this idea?

Only I have to say two things here: First, I agree with rmb that patina of copper can stain clothing if they bathe in a copper sink, so you really do not want to use the copper heatsink. However … I also want to note that copper is NOT associated with Alzheimer's disease. Aluminum is associated with Alzheimer's disease. There is a big difference. In fact, copper is a trace mineral that is absolutely necessary in the human body. The need to operate. We only need small quantities, and most people enough food, but not hurt in small quantities and is certainly not associated with Alzheimer's. –
