Should I use a tampon or a pad when I go to bed?

I do my best to put my notebook to the right of a night, but still bleeding in my pants. I need some help .. girls only

pads are best for use at night, it is assumed that changing a tampon every 2 hours or otherwise you will get an infection that feels like it is "sunburn." I hope that helped
