What are dry black beans supposed to look like?
I just bought a bag of dry black beans and some of them look kind of wrinkled and the black skin is peeling off. Are they supposed to look like that or did I get a bad bag?
They are suppose to be black beans. They shouldnt be wrinkled & the skin shouldnt be peeling off. They are old. If you to try to cook them they will take FOREVER which is not worth the time and effort. Throw them away & buy another bag with skins intact & not wrinkled.Good luck!
