How do I change the wood stain of a toy box?
I want to buy my daughter a certain toy box and of course it comes in every color but the one I need. I want the box to be espresso or chocolate brown wood so it matches her crib and dresser. My two questions are…
1. How do I change it to espresso/chocolate brown? (But still have the wood look not just paint)
2. What color should I origionally purchase it in?

You can’t. It’s MDF and veneers. Either learn how to faux paint wood grain, or just paint it dark brown.
Black would be the easiest transition to brown.
