How I can get my cat to drink from his bowl alone?

My cat drinking from a glass fish tank or small pond or water that may find no matter how long its been there but she did not drink the cup unless it's the only option, even if you change the water. How I can do here stop this?

Cover your fish tank, keep your drinks out of reach, as it might not be safe for your pet. My cat almost never drank water from the container, even after I cleaned. Then I had an automatic drinker as the source then and he loves it. He taps the water with his paw and examines all thing all the time, and drink a lot of it too. I do not know if it is deeper than your plate or if the color or what, but I love to drink it.
