How to change a Ceiling Light without a wall switch?

Hi, I'm trying to change a chandelier. The old man has a power light / Off the apparatus. There are no wall switches to work. My new lamp is not a light switch. What should I do? I have only one white and one available black wire on the roof. I would like to add any ugly out my beautiful spider – Are there other options? Thanks in advance.

First, all fire walls are standing. Borrow or buy a metal detector. (Less than 10.00) Find a stallion and an opening in the wall the size of the switch box next to the post. Go into the attic and drill a 1 inch above the sill plate of the wall. Make sure you are centered on the windowsill so they do not drill a hole in the wall. Fish the wire back into place and install the switch and switch again. In the end light fixture, connect black to black switch new wire. The white wire going to switch back to the new lamp black. Now connect the white of the fixture to the white of the old cables. Turn switch again and then turn the light switch on. Pat yourself on the back to carry a lot of money.
