7 Month Old Does not use nursing as a method of soothing herself anymore!!!?

My 7month old has become so efficient at BF that she is like “Wham Bam Thank You Ma’am” ! This does not pose a problem during the day when she eats and goes on with her activities. But at night she doesn’t want to nurse very long and soothe herself into a sleepy state. Now she eats quickly and wants to play. She wiggles herself around to clap ( her newest trcik), blow raspberries, or just wants to sit up and babble.
I have tried trying to rock her to sleep up to an hour… even when she is wiggly.
I have tried the whole cry it out routine (which takes about 20 minutes and she is out).
I have tried Reading to her while she is in her bed or in the rocking chair, but it seems to stimulate her too much.
She has music that plays in her room.
We have a bedtime routine… which unfortunately consisted of nursing for a bit before she went to bed.

Any recommendations???

Kiddos can be difficult to get down around that age. They’re more aware of what’s going on and they’re reluctant to go to sleep because they’re afraid they’ll miss something.
You can try pushing the bedtime back, it may be too early for her now.
Also, I know you said reading keeps her up but if you select one book that you read every night before bed she’ll associate it with sleep. I like to use childrens classics for this (we go through a lot of Kipling here). So, we nurse and read the same book nightly and she goes down without a fuss.
Try that in conjunction to a later bedtime (it doesn’t even have to be significantly later, maybe just 20-30 minutes later).
