Making chocolate candy homemade?

For the holidays, I want to make chocolate candy for your friends and family. I plan on going to the store Michael Craft to get the candy molds and sticks. I need to know how to do this step by step, what kind of chocolate you should use and what not. Can someone help me? Links would be great. Thanks!

I found this helpful when I made homemade candies. Hope this helps! How chocolate candy mold chocolate candy bar 1. Prepare the chocolate to melt. If not already in pieces, which are broken into small pieces. This will help it melt faster and more evenly. You can use a cutting board and a large sharp knife to do the job, or even grilled finely with a grater. 2. Melt the chocolate using a boiler double or microwave. You get the best results if you temper the chocolate instead of just melting. Just follow the instructions for tempering chocolate. If you decide to abandon that method, just be sure to keep moisture in contact with the chocolate melts. 1. To melt chocolate in the microwave – place chocolate pieces in a microwaveable container. Heat for 1 minute in the middle. Mix the chocolate, but does not seem to need it. Repeat process until chocolate is completely melted and smooth. making chocolate candy 2. To melt chocolate in double boiler – Heat water in bottom pan of double boiler over low heat. Do not boil the water. Make sure the water is low enough to not touch the base of the pot or container top. Place chocolate chips in top of double boiler and stir constantly after it starts to melt. 3. Spoon chocolate into the molds. If you want to make the task much easier, fill the molds with a plastic bottle or pastry bag. You could even fill a ziploc bag and cut off the tip and use it to pipe the chocolate. 4. Tap the filled molds on the table a couple times to remove any air bubbles in the chocolate. Place the molds in the freezer for 10-15 minutes molding chocolates. Check to see if they have set. If your candy molds are clear, you can sustain and looking at the bottom to see if the chocolate is released from the mold. If it is large pieces that may need to relax more. The quality of appearance will be better if colder when molding chocolate instead of cold. 5. In turn molds chocolate candy down and gently tap the table or counter covered with wax paper. The molded chocolates should drop right out. 6. Clean the pan with warm water and soap. If they are plastic, not put the molds in the dishwasher. 7. Chocolate can be melted again and again, so if you have any leftovers (if not impossible) can be put into a container for future use. Store chocolate in a cool and dry.
