suzuki sx4 jx hatchback resale value?

consider to buy a suzuki sx4 jx hatchback, it is small enough for my taste and has 4WD. Test drive felt good. Then I found out the dealer has good financing for purchase but very high rate for lease financing. Basically they do not encourage lease at all. That means, they did not say, but I guess, the lease return is hard to get rid of. Then I did some online research and found out the resale vaulue is low. The questions come like, is this make a raliable car? it is made in japan, why is its resale value so low? any one know about this? Thank you!

All cars will loose their over time. When you buy a new one and drive it off the dealer lot it just lost $500 to $2,000 depending on the make and model. Sometimes low resale or trade-in value might reflect the quality of the vechile but not always. Dealers will try to get the lowest price or trade-in value from you so that they can make a profit and then sale it for a high price. Some dealers have stop lease programs because it is sometimes hard to resale the vechile depending on what shape it is in when it is return. If you can find a good used one with low mileage within two or three years of a new one that has been checked out by the dealer then go for that one. It might save you a few thousand bucks and the warranty might still be good with the car. Just ask about it?
