What would be the best way to paint an acrylic shower curtain?

I have a clear shower curtain with a world map on it and I want to fill in the ocean parts. I thought about using sharpie paint pens but I want to make sure the colors won’t start to run. I have a liner so it wouldn’t be directly exposed to the water, just the vapor. I want to be able to draw in some detail, like underwater ridges and such, with more than just blue so I don’t necessarily want to get a gallon of paint…

My opinion, bad idea as it’s going to look messed up. Flaking, etc.
