Why power compact fluorescent bulbs, high so hard to find?
I found spiral compact fluorescent bulbs projector on eBay that are 30-105W on eBay, however, the strongest power that I am able to find in most stores is 23 or 27W. Does anyone know why why is this? Does reliability decreases dramatically higher power? Is it dangerous to use? What is the maximum power to be used safely?
It is not the safety or reliability, but the market demand. 27W CFL is equivalent to the incandescent light output of 100W. Usually, you do not need much Bright lights in the house. brighter output is often necessary in outdoor lights, such as projectors in the courtyard. These lamps are available in CFLs in stores like Walmart and Home Depot, etc.
