Little children and the table height counter? Do you have one with small children – 2 and under?

We are buying a house and really want to get a high table for the dining … but are concerned about our one year old falling off the high chair when she is old enough to leave the chair and sit in the chair without a seat for children. Does anyone have a high table and chairs, and how their children are doing on them? Our daughter is very upset and I do not think it will to change any time soon! We have a child seat that can grow in, I think I'm asking about how children are a bit more no? Like when too big for the Rockets?
