What color should I paint my walls?

Alright, so I’m totally making over my bedroom within the next few weeks. I have two walls with a dark purple and two hot pink. Even though I think it looks great with my current theme, I don’t think it’ll work with my new theme. I want to go with a sleek and elegant feel. I want the room to feel rich, so to say. You know what the barcelona furniture looks like, right? Well, I’m going to have a daybed of theirs in my room. That should give you an idea of what I’m going for. I definitely DO NOT want my walls white though. So many things in my room will be white, including the daybed, bookcases, and wood flooring. You can see why I wouldn’t want white walls then. It would seem way too bland in the room. I previously wanted a pine green on the walls, but would that look horrible with white everywhere? Oh, any advice on how to etch something cool on the wall? I want to put a quote up there.

I’m sixteen if that matters.

I looked up Pine green on the web, and I really like it. Green and white always go well together. They can create a very crisp/ dramatic looking room. If you are the kind of girl who likes purple and hot pink on your walls, then I don’t think a soft green will give you the punch you’re looking for. I say go for it!

All of the paint companies have websites where you can “paint you own room” by uploading a photo (or using their photo). I would suggest playing with that for awhile, just to be sure.
