Diameter Towel Ring

I’ve been finding strange & sometimes gross things in my house…?

So last night I walked in my bedroom & there was a huge grosslooking clump of dirt on the floor. So of course I picked it up in a paper towel & threw it in the garbage. I slept on the couch last night (hubby’s not home) & I walked into my bed room this morning & there’s this dirty nasty ring type thing. It’s about 2inches in diameter and looks disgusting. Then about an hour later I walk back in there & there’s a big rock in the middle of the floor?
Where the hell is all this stuff coming from? I have 3 dogs, but I would have noticed if they had carried it in from outside & they obviously didn’t go out while I was sleeping.

OK, maybe I should have explained better. I don’t think my house is haunted. I’m sure my little dog is finding the stuff somewhere, it’s just not from out side.
The rock isn’t like a boulder or anything but it’s not a pebble either. I haven’t done any remodeling. There are no holes in my house… that I know of.

I have a drawer in the kitchen that I throw all of those things in, plus a bunch of other stuff. Don’t try to analyze it, just accept the “gifts”!
