Display Bookcase

Books ideas and recommendations for my bookcase?

Hi I’m 24 and I recently purchased a new home with my husband. In my dining area is a fireplace and two large (ceiling to floor) bookcases. I don’t have any books! Ok i have some from my college courses but im not going to display those. lol

So i need some ideas on what kind of books to buy, that I will actually use and read. I’m not a heavy reader and all the info I need on anything is online. I need ideas please! I will also put picture frames, small gadgets and stuff to fill some voids, but the bookcases are HUGE and they are built in, they are too nice to tear down.

well I want to collect some cool looking bibles and religious texts to display and occassionally read… maybe just go for books that look cool for now and get some artsy stuff that can be used as a book end too… also candle holders/inscense holds display nicely for the crafty touch… you can also put some nice quotes/pictures in there that are artistic… poems framed too… whatever your knack is that would be descent for the colors of your dining room… if it is more of a rustic look get some antiques to display and old family photos in rustic frames… if it is upbeat and modern put something to match that… perhaps something with black and white photos… you can do anything with those book shelves..
