Display cases?? Anyone?

Normally do you guys or gals buy/build display cases for your collectables? I am a ship modeller, i build Military Warships from WW2 to modern. Shall i have a display case or just display it out without it?

Depending on their size, I would consider having custom glass cases made. A great model of the Graff Spee would warrant a custom case. They are too intricate to have covered with dust. Since most of my HO trains are run, I really don’t worry about display. I do have a small Hand Made 3 tiered shelf that I use for some of the more rare pieces.
