How to get rid of an infestation of ants in the kitchen? Quanties return in doubles after killing them?

I keep my house very clean and tidy and ensure that no trace of food left in the house to attract even more ants any more .. I tried to use ant poison, but return to twice as many friends as they once were living on my property. HELP! They are taking over my house and I can not get rid of them.

Are you sure are not termites? Google ants and / or termites to help identify the problem. You need to know where they came from and seal cracks. In the long run would be better to get a professional exterminator to evaluate and assess the problem. Recently I had a termite problem and find a great deal of useful information online.
