How I can help my mourning dove?

To hand-feed a baby pigeon, you need a special formula so that to get the right amount of protien and fat. A licensed wildlife rehabilitator would know what to feed. Fourth, there is much more to rehabilitate a bird that only feed and keep it alive. A bird kept in captivity must be taught to recognize and find the type of food they eat in nature. If you are being fed by hand, not be associated with insects and berries and seeds in nature as food. You must also have the opportunity to exercise their wings a lot, so it will be able to fly, or shortly after their release. When I offered to rehabilitation Bird Center, which kept the rehabilitation of the rookies in a large walk-in cage with lots of shelves and the main branches of one shelf to another, and to the ground.
