How do I work with hardwood floors, light blue walls, and black furniture?

I recently rented a place with dark wood flooring and the living room is painted a light blue. All my furniture is black for the livingroom. I am really bad at color scheming and I am feeling like there are really no options to make this room cute. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!!

They put rattan with it . . . you could pick this up in basket / planters, accent chair, Personally I think light blue, black & white with brown floors sounds really cute- I’d do black picture frames-
