One of the main function of the bathroom vanity is to hold the sink. Some people use pedestals or even just a pair of brackets for holding the sink. If there is a big window with plenty of natural light, you can consider a contemporary bathroom vanity in black. However, if the bathroom is rather dim, such a vanity may make the atmosphere a little too gloomy. Under such circumstances, something in pastel color may be more suitable.
If the bathroom is big enough with sufficient light, choosing a vanity is not much of a problem. Only you need to make sure that they are not so small or so inconspicuous that they remain unnoticed. They must come in darker colors and if unobtrusive material such as glass is used, it must be used in combination with something more conspicuous. In addition, the size of the vanity too needs to be compatible to the size of the bathroom. If the bathroom is big and if your finance permits, you can try those modern double vanities that have two sinks set side by side in the same vanity.
A bigger space is required for modern double vanities but that does not mean that smaller bathrooms cannot really accommodate them. Wall-hung double vanities can also be tried with unobtrusive colors. For smaller bathrooms you can use a vanity which is made purely of glass. They use metals for making brackets, plumbing lines and faucets. Nowadays wooden vanities are also available. Keeping wood as a primary material and combination of other few materials wooden vanity is made. To save the wooden vanity from splashes the countertop will be covered with stone or glass.
The vanity prices differ greatly depending on the material, size or design. Even though it is costlier it is far more practical to go for something sturdy and durable since you cannot buy a vanity every day. You can think that the glass vanity may be breakable, but the technological innovation has made glass vanity which is non breakable.

You can look for a bathroom vanity with vessel sink since these sinks are fixed on the top of the counter not inside it, they are easy to remove and install. Hence if you buy you can change it whenever you want and it is also not costlier one.
