Handle Pull
A breed of dog that can pull a reasonable amount of weight, but also can handle the heat well?
Are these dogs? It would be great help! I live in a warm weather climate, but I want a big dog that can pull 50 to 100 pounds.
There are several different races that can make the kind of weight you are describing. However, there really is no specific breeds that can tolerate high temperatures, especially if they are pulling the weight. Dogs need be protected from heat – which may take about 15 minutes for a dog to develop a heat stroke, regardless of size and / or race. The floor can be very hot and burn the pads, green areas, may even be too hot. What kind of weight pulling you considering? Editorial karts, service work? Dogs must be trained and properly prepared and should be a certain age (minimum 18 months to 2 years) before allowing the weight throw. If allowed to throw weight at an early age and are not properly trained and equipped, which can severely damage and / or develop orthopedic problems.
