Hardware Knobs
Does anyone know how to finish my old hardware on the doors? The plates and door knobs are nearly 100 years?
The finish is kind of oxide for me, but not red as rust. Are interior accessories. I think it needs more polishing. All useful ideas? I'd rather do it myself if possible. Thanks fellow rehabbers!
I refinished some brass fittings from a log using an ancient Chinese method of combining. First, I Brasso used that eliminated much of the surface dirt. Then, I used my Dremel and Dremel small jar of paste sold to clean bronze. I used the wire brush Fine, then grinding wheel and patience that seemed new.
