Looking for advice on allergies and get a HEPA air purifier?

My son has allergies and the document is an air purifier.Do reconmending work, we reconmend get one? Not sure what I'm looking for in regard to the characteristics of them and do not know which brands are good. I've also heard talk about people installing some kind of cleaner on your oven. How much is this and does not work? Looking for any thoughts or advice. thanks

I've never tried an air purifier. I have a humidifier, and I find that makes a pretty good job. I would recommend trying that first, because you can find small they can only go right next to your bed. Small humidifiers tend to cost less than air purifiers and easy to use. My doctor advised me First try a humidifier and if it was not enough to help get an air purifier as well, but I found that the humidifier is all I need.
