Thinking of painting chrome fittings?

My bathroom accessories towel rail, toilet roll holder etc are chrome can i spray them black.

What type of paint or spray should i use and will the finish look OK.

My advice is – Don’t, because however much you want to change the finish, you will never get a better finish by painting over chrome. The problem is trying to get a ‘key’ for the paint to adhere to – almost impossible unless you can remove all the chrome coating – and this is not designed to come off.
My advice is:
1. Put up with what you have got, or
2. Change the fittings, if you can afford to.
