just found pair of old brass candle holders {not antique } and not interested in spending great amount to clean up
I band instrument repairman can give you an UNBELEAVABLE shine using his buffing wheels. You can see the wheels at work near the end of the video listed below. I buffed up a pair of pewter sticks and they shined like silver!
If you don’t want to spend much just get some BRASSO, it will do nicely but it will take some time. Make sure and let it dry before taking it off. GOOD LUCK : )
