Is it dangerous for your health to smell charcoal incense every day?

For those who have followed my other questions, I live in a townhouse and my neighbours are burning charcoal incense really strong and the odour comes in my house and makes me nauseated. I would like to know if someone knows if it’s dangerous for my family’s and my 3 cats health? They are from India. It has a burnt rubber smell to it. They do it about 10 times a day!

I would say that it’s dangerous if it causes any health problems. So if it makes you nauseous, there’s proof that it’s dangerous. If you have children, some studies suggest that incense smoke can be as bad as second-hand cigarette smoke. Our bodies are made to inhale air all the time, not smoke! Also, if the smoke invades your home, I would call that an invasion of your space, regardless of the health consequences. Where I live, if you can prove that you can smell your neighbor’s smoke of any kind, the landlord or the legal system can impose restrictions on neighbors or force them to move. I suggest that you have a right to a smoke-free home, so you should try to see what you can do legally to get them to stop. I would say just ask them to stop, but they probably do it for a reason.
