Iron Double Towel

I am doing laundry for money, mainly bedding and towels and need to know what is a fair price to charge?

I do the washing and ironing of duvets and pillowcases and tumble dry towels, I cannot get my head round electricity charges!! having a really blonde day – can any one help? currently I ask for 5.00 for a single bed set and 8.00 for a double set, towels are 5.75 per pair they are huge and fluffy!!
Do you think this is fair?

I don’t really know – you will have to take into account all your costs (electricity, washing powder, delivery, collection, ironing time perhaps)

Best I can suggest is look at what the local launderette charges and what other people doing similar service charge then decide if you can do it for same, less or more.

If you already have paying customers they obviously think its an ok charge.

If you are more expensive than others what do you do that they don’t – ie fabric freshener – smells good, collection and delivery (your costs for petrol etc.)
