Either could be ‘classics’ but I really depends on choosing a timeless style. Attractive retro or ‘vintage’ furniture (wood or white) is always a good bet, because it has already stood the test of time. Avoid trendy, faddish, ‘Ikea’ type stuff if you plan on investing in decent furniture and keeping it. Final Tip: Old flea market or garage sale furniture that is really beat up, can look great when painted white or cream.
