Does anyone have any suggestions for attractive storage in kids’ rooms?

I am looking for permanent solutions!

What about those hamper benches? They would make for a great toy box. And you can use cubes or baskets to hold other items. Seriously consider going through your kids toys and getting rid of stuff though. My parents always limited me in toys to what would fit in my toy box. If I wanted new toys I had to get rid of old ones. It worked out fairly well and we would do it about once a year, 2-3 times if I got frustrated with the mess. Honestly though, my parents didn’t buy me a ton of toys, and I learned to be more creative and to make do with less overall. Like I never had the easy bake set, the play house or play matts, but I still cook and never REALLY missed them.

Occasionally I would go to a friends house that had that stuff, and they never actually used it, but their parents thought it was great to have! Teaching your kids early that they won’t always get what they want just because they want it will really help when they hit the teenage years and you can’t afford the $150 jeans that they want or that brand new car. My parents would certainly tell you it saved them a lot of trouble, and I am an only child!
