How to make a king size headboard padded with cloth rather than leather?

Take a sheet of plywood cut to the size you need. Sand the edges. Sprinkle one side with adhesive. Place 1 1 / 2 inch thick foam and batting in the adhesive. Make sure you have enough to cover the edges of the back. It is not necessary to cover the back, just do not want hard edges. Take the material of choice cut to overlap the batting in the back. Then take a staple gun and start stapling. You have to pull the tight material, this can take 2 people. Once the material, you can use the buttons to create your quilt. Place how you want the quilt to look. When you have the way you want, punch holes in the back of the board, but not through the batting and materials. After taking some high-tensile wire will not rust and put through the button shank. Push the cable through the material and through the hole you drilled. Then turn the cable and the ends flare out by pressing the buttons in place.
