Concealing Cracks In Marble Kitchen
Marbles are considered to be as one of the best materials for decorating the houses. It is popular for lending a distinctive and regal touch to the commercial buildings and homes. The demand of marble floorings and marble tiles are increasing with time. Many consumers prefer to install marble tiles or floors over other tiles.
It is especially a preferred choice for people residing in warm countries as it has a cooling effect on your home. This stone is solid and dense and has low heat transmission properties. For that reason it has a cooling effect. Therefore people, who live on the areas with hot climate, prefer to install marble floors or tiles in their house for this reason. It is considered as superb material for decorating the houses, buildings etc. It can be placed in the kitchen, bathroom, drawing room and even on the outside walls.
There are many important factors that we need to consider to maintain the beauty and color of the marble floors. Good quality floor cleaners should be used in order to maintain its beauty. Apart from that, tin dioxide or good quality grade polishing powder can be used to clear etch and blemishes on the surface of the marble floors. Tin dioxide or polishing powders are available in marble material shops or household maintenance stores. In order to keep the floor in good shape and to remove the stains and blemishes, wax should be used with the powder over the affected areas of the floor. Marble floors are more prone to damage like chipping, breakage and cracking. The torn and chipped pieces should be placed on the broken areas of the marble surface. Acetone should be used to wipe the edges properly.
All the unnecessary materials like grime and dirt which usually accumulate around the edges will be removed through this process. Sealer or glue should be used to make proper bonding. Repair cement, which are approved by the manufacturer, or epoxy glue should be used regularly in order to bind the pieces properly. It is one of the essential tasks that the installer should perform.
Sealing of the floors is another essential task. Before starting any cleaning method, you need to ensure that that the stones are properly sealed. We need to consider some of the important factors. Before choosing the floor we need to look at the surface type. The stone density should also be checked. Selecting a sealant will become easier after following these steps. Soft brush (bristled) should be used to remove the debris from the grout joints of the tiles. Then it should be rinsed, dried and polished. After this task, one need to clean out the liquid mess, especially the pills, by using soap less detergents and PH balanced floor cleaners. Dish washing liquid can also help in cleaning the surface of the floor.
Good floor cleaners should be used to maintain the texture, color and beauty of the floor. Apart from that, soft piece of cloth should be used in mopping and sweeping the floor. The cleaner should be left on the tile surface for some time in order to make the cleansing process more effective. Then the tiles should be rinsed properly. Then sweep it with a dry cloth.
