strange cat behavior?

everynight when I go to bed, my cat gets in bed with me and right after I fall asleep she gets up on her hind legs and starts swatting and clawing at something above my headboard. she also will leap from tha bed to the chair next to my bed. its pitch black in the room, theres no light on, so I cant imagine what she’s seeing. She also is usually purring during this. Any input would be appreciated.
also, we just started taking pictures of her when she is doing this and there are white looking balls which someone called “orbs” in the pictures. we used 3 different cameras and they’re in all them.

Well, cats are mainly nocturnal, so the fact that she is active at night isn’t surprising. Also, if she purring, she’s content and in a good mood, so again that’s a good thing. Odds are though is that she may hear something in your wall that you can’t. I had a mouse in a wall at my old house that lived there for at least 3 months and everyday my cat would purr and and swat at spots of the wall. I never heard the mouse, but after calling an exterminator they found quite a nice little mouse home in there. So, your cat may just hear or sense something there you can’t. Don’t worry about, like I said the cat must be happy because it’s purring.
