What’s a good skateboard?

I would like some feedback regarding skateboards. Last year I got my son an Angelboy complete board (7.35″ x 29″) and it has worked quite nicely. He is now 8 and starting a skateboard camp and I was told this board is not that good and he should get another board. From what I have read, this is a good board. Anyway, I am going to custom build a board for him. He is only 8 years old, 48″ tall , 48lbs. and his shoes are 8″ long.
Here is what I am thinking:

bones reds bearings

This set up is $113 to my doorstep, built.
Anything else I should consider? Keep in mind his age, weight, and foot size, as to what he can easily maneuver. How can someone with small feet and light weight get ‘pop’ from his board?

the deck is good, mini logos last long and theyre decent. I also recommend get zero mini, i think theyre perfect size for him. plus theyre light

about the griptape ive never tried Jessup. I have Mob grip and theyre very grippy. some griptapes peel off the board , mob doesnt.

dont buy the riser pad or any type of riser pads, they only decrease the pop of the deck, but they absorb the impact. For me it doesnt really affect my skating but i suggest you dont get risers

i have bones reds and they never dispaoint me plus theyre easy to clean and smooth

I also have bones wheels but mine is STF (street tech formula). theyre great for street skating and light. plus I heard most bones wheels are light so that pretty sweet

Ive never heard of industrial trucks. if you want a light trucks get Phantom 2 trucks. ive been skating on em for almost 3 yrs and they still work like new. theyre so light it makes the board flip faster when you do flip tricks on em

i dont have soft bushing but phantoms come with soft bushings.

i might also suggest you get a Unit tool in case his board breaks or need to replace a part. also since hes going on a skate camp, hes gonna learn to ride halfpipes or ramps so he might need that tool to tighten the trucks for easy maneuver.
