Light Switch Cover

Painting: I have white walls black light switch covers, and im thinking of doing black trim, does that work?

if anyone thinks it does please let me know, and let me know what color carpeting or flooring i can use to make the room look nice, and if it doesn’t please give me ideas for a room with white walls

Do your walls have to stay white? If not a real nice color from Sherwin williams is “Kilm Biege”. It has been very popular for along time and for good reason.

But, I think black trim could be very dramatic. So could a steely gray or gray/blue.

As for carpet color choices, we had a very large (8 foot long 5 1/2 foot high) fireplace of black marble that was the focal point of a large living room. An interior decorator great tip for working with black: Do not use beige or tan colored carpets with yellow undertones. Taupe (which ends up looking nice and neutral and beige in the presence of black interior highlights) colors in carpets compliment blacks much better.
