What to see and do in Lisbon in April?

I am going to Lisbon for 5 nights in April. I want to make the most of the short time I am there. Can you recommend anything for me to do? Or alternatively any reliable, quality websites that could advise me? I’m an art student so I am very interested in any contemporary art galleries I could visit too.

Lisbon (for me) is one the prettiest cities in the world.
I’m just gonna list some places you could visit (look them up online)

– Chiado (its like a pier, but not quite. It’s the heart of the city – it has all the old houses and cool stores)

– Estoril and even the center of Cascais (Sooo pretty! Priceless! The sea is beautiful although the small waves… It’s a very good location to dine (the food is EXCELLENT in Portugal) You can also stroll along the Casino’s gardens and contemplate the view.)

– Praça do Rossio (also a MUST-do)

– Monumento dos Navegadores (Monument in honor of the great Portuguese Navigator: Henry)

– Casa das Histórias Paula Rego (If your into art. . . One of the Best Portuguese paintors www.casadashistoriaspaularego.com/)

– Palacio da Pena in Sintra (the prettiest palace i’ve ever seen (being on the outskirts of Lisbon))

– Mosteiro dos Jerônimos (Someone who came to lisbon and didn’t visit it, wasn’t really in Lisbon – Beautiful)
