Maytag Amana

I'll buy a new gas stove and I'm undecided on the model there. Please enlighten me.?

I'd rather hear about Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Amana. Please include model numbers.

Hi, I know you asked to hear only the ranges that you mentioned, but please bear with me. Had a house built which was completed a year and a half ago. I would have a gas stove set in Kitchenaid, but decided to spend a little more and get the five board Lobo burner for everything he had heard and read. I have several friends that I have had Wolf stoves and also know people who have had all the others you mentioned. I will say that all are good, but if you want a board that is not only extremely easy to clean, but offers more temperature levels of heat, you would to go with Wolf. With the wolf, you have low, medium and high, and even lower elsewhere in low, medium and high. In addition, with 5 burner Wolf stove gives a BTU much higher in most burner that any of the other stoves. I have three burners smaller one that is large and then the larger is the big gun. Among ease of cleaning and many heat settings for each burner, I can not understand any other type of stove. Now, with most devices, you get what you pay, so keep that in mind. If you really like to cook and you plan to live at home for a long time, go ahead and spend a little more for this unit will use all the day of your life and not be replaced by a very very long time. You will not regret the decision, I promise. (Everyone I know who has had a Wolf range of other brands that list and also the Viking and Dacor. As SubZero ….. Wolf stoves do not have SubZero plate itself.) So you have to make a decision but please do not make a decision solely on price …. the price difference over the years is very very minimal and not even worth thinking about when you split the difference cost in all the years going to use this stove. What you get is years of satisfaction. GOOD LUCK!
