Do they work well. Is it worht the investment havigg not be together Grilled all day?

I love mine, is one of Taylor. The guest Amazon say the probes are going badly when exposed to very high heat and no know until you have something burning. I have avoided this problem by cooking time to half time and then insert the probe, which is not exposed to the 500 degree heat Start the oven. I'm not sure how things would work in a grid that is much hotter than a furnace 350. I will say that the function of control Remote is great. Although recommended to set the alarm for low temperature of what you really want to check it out. You would not believe how quickly the temperature rises at the end of cooking.
