What Color Towels and Floor rugs to purchase for aneutrall bathroom makeover?

I the next couple of weeks i will be renovating my bathroom to a more neutral, comfortable look. I have oak cabinets for my sink and a linen cupboard, i will be using a granite top for the sink vanity ( a golden brown) and i will be using brushed nickel for my fixtures (towel racks, toilet paper holder, sink faucet) i also a have neutral tan ceramic tiled floor. i need floor rugs and towels next, but what color? i hate white because they can stain and im not sure about another tan color (boorring) please just some simple suggestions would be awesome!

PS: if you would like to suggest a color for the shower curtain that will be great too! easy 10!

i would go for a dark brown colour – i tend to think darker towels look more luxurious, also they dont look so worn so quickly and would go with your pallett
