Offset Stainless

I have an outdoor fireplace stainless steel pieces together. Can these be run by an interior brick fireplace?

A family member has given me stainless steel fireplace designed to put outside the house. I wonder if they can run to a normal brick fireplace? Ours has a displacement the chimney, which would make things difficult. Can these be connected to a flexible liner of the chimney, to move by displacement? Our fireplace brick must be replaced at the top and I was thinking about taking it to the inside of the attic, and then have only stainless steel out of the deck. Any suggestions appreciated. PS the reason I not only want to run the stainless steel pipe to the outside, is that the heater would require moving the furnace and water.
