Open Towel Ring

i got the red ring of death on my xbox how do I fix it?

I did the towel trick the oenny trick i opened my xbox 360 and tried to fix it, any help? And my warranty ran out

A guy I work with has repaired a number of them. Search online for “red ring of death repair” sites.

As I understand it, you take it apart and install a different heat sink, then you overheat the processor until it faults out on high temp. Let it cool then power up with on errors. I haven’t done it (don’t own an xbox) but he has fixed about 4 so far.
