How do I enlarge photo to fit digital photo frame?

I have just bought a new digital photo frame but when I put my photos on it its chopping the sides off. The digital photo frame says 16×9 format my camera is a 13 megapixel camera any ideas

The photo frame has an aspect ratio of 16:9 your camera has either a 4:3 aspect ratio (point and shoot camera) or a 3:2 aspect ratio (most DSLR’s).

This is why it is cutting the sides off. See if you can change the aspect ratio of the photo frame. Some frames allow you to use different aspect ratios. Many point and shoot cameras allow you to shoot in 16:9 but be aware that this option uses less of the already very small sensor. It will lower the size and quality of your photos. It would become a problem if you ever wanted to make larger prints of the photos.

Your other option would be to crop the pictures yourself before putting them on the photo frame. You could at least control what got cropped.
