What happens if you use a lower power charger for a laptop that requires more power?

I bought a universal charger the outputs of 90 watts, but I think my laptop uses about 150 watts. I read that could bring my laptop but not charge the battery me unless it is in sleep mode. I just need to run my laptop and since this charger is compact be more convenient for me. Does this break my laptop? thanks

Or it could cause problems for the laptop or would not be able to turn on the laptop at all. This is a very bad idea. It definitely does not work that way. It's like saying "well, if I can get a 300 watt charger, my laptop is loaded twice as fast!" This is not the case. It is necessary that accurate. The battery or not.
