Is it common to have an odor and a metallic taste after installing the new Price Pfister faucet?

not there should be no aftertaste 2 min of all the faucets have a small amount of lubricant at the factory, but their veg. and minerals so it tends to hurt. like all plumbing fixtures must not be glad you made of a material that does not decompose and will bring you the materials. if you do not have this problem before changing the faucet i will look closely at the tap. Does some galv. water pipes in your house when you get a slight flavor to it. in all my years I've had plumbing problems, but never a metallic taste in a new faucet. if it is not clear in a couple of days it takes. good luck.
