Metal filler or is there a handle pull I could get?

I’m refurbishing this really great old metal cabinet. The Door Lock is gone, leaving in its place a nice large hold which is about 3/4″ in diameter. I don’t really need a lock, and the thing stays shut decently well. Is there some way to fill this hole then use a regular door pull on it, or is there a SUPER WIDE shank drawer pull that would work?

Buy a replacement lock for it at a home center or find a drawer pull knob that covers the hole and use a large washer with a small hole to grab the screw on the backside—they’re called “fender washers” —- hardware stores or home centers carry them.
