Sign up for Twitter, YouTube and Facebook as fast as you can. You now have a medium to broadcast a message to potential customers. A Facebook fan page will play a key role in your social media campaign and can be set up from your profile relatively simply. One huge key to making social media work is in the title social, keep it social and avoid ramming your sales pitch down some ones throat every chance you get. Offer information that will help your prospects. They will then come to know like and trust you and then consider doing business with you.

A Blog – Again a key medium for communicating with prospects, use a blog to promote special offers, industry updates, valuable information to your prospects. Make it a good worth wile read and ensure it comes with an rss feed to notify subscribers of fresh updates. Sites such as Blogger and WordPress offer free blog hosting, extremely useful in using internet marketing to generate leads for your business

Your own website – Absolutely huge in using internet marketing for your business and really in this day and age (the information age) you need to have one. Without it you are losing to competition that does have one as they are more easily found than you are. If you think about it, who uses the phone book anymore, you just go to Google and type in what you are looking for. A very worth wile investment and costs around $20 per month.

Podcasting – By creating a podcast you are creating a voice recording that you can then publish out onto the web. If you type into Google or YouTube how to create a podcast you will come across in depth instruction on how to create one. Most modern computers have the required software these days, you may have to purchase a decent digital microphone but that should set you back no more than $50.
